Celebrate Christmas in the Highcroft

It now feels a bit like Christmas in the Escents for a long time. Since we have worked to make our seven retail stores pretty for the holidays, summer come with gifts and packaging, everyone on your list will meet and work with our small warehouse Elves to ensure all that happens on time. Now is the city of Vancouver finally catch up with us! Of University Women's Club prepares for its annual Christmas at Highcroft Highcroft House event and this year we are very proud to be one of the sponsors,. The theme is "Winter Wonderland", and Escents set up all the toilets, guest toilet and baby change rooms with baskets of our products and of course our popular wash & bubble and lotion near lower.

Highcroft House was built in 1909 for the McRae family. It was on five acres, and Italian tiles and marble, stained glass, rare wood, ten fireplaces, five tanning beds, two lounges, a dining room, a salon, several bedrooms and a ballroom with a sprung floor. Gardens surround the House with a coach house Mews cottage, stables, swimming pool, an Italian garden, a rose garden, tea house and children play House. 1911 Moved the family McRae in the House. 1915 Quarter master was appointed in the first world war, Alexander McRae Lieutenant Colonel General. After returning to Canada, he went into politics with the short-lived provincial party of BC, then as the Federal Conservative Member for North Vancouver in 1926.He was later in the Senate in 1930 ernannt.Hycroft was a symbol of the city and the McRaes hosted the cream of the Vancouver society in the 20s and 30s.

As their contribution to the war effort, Highcroft of the Federal Government gave the McRaes in 1942. Ms. McRae died later that year and the contents of the House were auctioned off shortly thereafter.The House was converted into a hospital and the game was later divided, and this was when the University Women's Club, which currently time women were the House to halten.Zur keep no mortgage in your own right and were required to pay for it in full. Today is the University Women's Club of mandate of product stewardship and service to the community with its operation of the House.You at Highcroft host Christmas every year, and this is one of the ways that are able to support the ongoing needs a 100 year old house hat.Es is all dressed up for Christmas.Trees, trains, Santa, snacks, gifts and crafts all expect the Besucher.Auch featured activities, bistro and wine bar, Christmas Shoppe, a silent auction and entertainment is an artisan village, non-profit boutiques.

This weekend Highcroft is more than 4000 guests through its doors begrüßen.Wir are proud to be a Vancouver company and we are proud to support this local event that celebrates the history of this beautiful city.
