How one fragrant cards
My family traditions belongs to make hand stamped cards for Christmas with my sister in law. We chose a design early in the autumn, together for a weekend of tea, shortbread and assembly line for all the supplies we need building our maps, to collect. These cards have put such care in you, I'm often told you as a gift in itself are. I've found to make a way even more special, and that is smell with aroma mixtures of Escents. This year I Christmas joy and cowardly vanilla in my cards and I felt very festive only to working with you! During a home made card may be a small work of art that works well with every card you send, at any time of the year.
Here's a quick how-to:
Take your cards, your favorite essential oils or aroma blends, a zip-top plastic bag, a small piece of paper towel for each card you smell.
Place 1-2 drops of the oil on paper towel,
And paste it into the card.
Seal the card in the plastic bag overnight (more than a card can go in the bag) and voila! You are ready to send your fragrant cards to everyone on your list.

1. Bright nights - Stanley Park
At Stanley Park's bright nights over a million lights turn the forest, train and children farmyard into a winter wonderland. Access to the Plaza is free, but you have to pay to train the bright lights, or give kids farmyard ($9 for adults, $6 for 2-18 youth and seniors). More info.
2. Woodword's Windows walking tour
Woodward's Windows were a Vancouver Christmas tradition since the 1960s shoppers delight with holiday scenes and characters from past years. For the first time in 17 years, these historical treasures are displayed in the newly renovated Woodward's building and five other locations in Vancouver downtown core are. The hike to visit six grand displays that will take on a nostalgic journey back in time. It's completely free, so bundled, grab a warm egg nog and enjoy. More info.
3. Holiday or events & shopping at Lonsdale Quay
Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver is a wonderful festive place to do your Christmas shopping with all kinds of free events for the whole family, including the 3rd annual gingerbread house contest, weekend craft fairs, visits with Santa and kids activities (Dec. 18-19 only) and holiday entertainment. 4. Carol ships parade of lights
The popular Carol ships parade of lights in its 49th year and runs from December 4-23. The vessels can be seen mainland locations in the lower from a number of Prime Bank page. The display has grown from a ship to over 50 participating boats. There are also plenty to enjoy shore side events in conjunction with the parade. This event is free. More info.
5. Festival of trees
The four seasons hotel the Pacific Centre Mall host the Festival of trees, decorated and a "must-see" displays the most beautiful and creative Christmas trees. It is as a fundraiser for BC children's Hospital Foundation held. The event free of charge and for a donation of $2, children and adults can vote for your favorite structure. People, more than $20 donations receive a donation receipt. More info.
6. Vancouver Christmas market
The Christmas market in Vancouver is an authentic outdoor German Christmas market village is located on the Plaza at the Queen Elizabeth theatre. Through the festively decorated outdoor Christmas village stroll and handled, line on line of lit wooden huts offers handmade gifts and goodies. Listen to the sounds of bells, trumpeter and carolers. At night twinkle and delicious aromas of mulled wine blow thousands of Christmas lights wine and spicy gingerbread through the air. From December 3, 2010 to January 2, 2011 guests on a seasonal sensory celebration treated, including gingerbread cookie decoration, seasonal music from the Christmas band, glass ornament blowing the splendour of magic lights in the whole Park with Malcolm McFadyen and of course. Proceeds from admission will be donated fire burn, Fund BC professional aiming at sensitizing 20,000 US US dollar for the Organization to support burn week in BC schools. Celebrate Christmas in the Highcroft
It now feels a bit like Christmas in the Escents for a long time. Since we have worked to make our seven retail stores pretty for the holidays, summer come with gifts and packaging, everyone on your list will meet and work with our small warehouse Elves to ensure all that happens on time. Now is the city of Vancouver finally catch up with us! Of University Women's Club prepares for its annual Christmas at Highcroft Highcroft House event and this year we are very proud to be one of the sponsors,. The theme is "Winter Wonderland", and Escents set up all the toilets, guest toilet and baby change rooms with baskets of our products and of course our popular wash & bubble and lotion near lower.
Highcroft House was built in 1909 for the McRae family. It was on five acres, and Italian tiles and marble, stained glass, rare wood, ten fireplaces, five tanning beds, two lounges, a dining room, a salon, several bedrooms and a ballroom with a sprung floor. Gardens surround the House with a coach house Mews cottage, stables, swimming pool, an Italian garden, a rose garden, tea house and children play House. 1911 Moved the family McRae in the House. 1915 Quarter master was appointed in the first world war, Alexander McRae Lieutenant Colonel General. After returning to Canada, he went into politics with the short-lived provincial party of BC, then as the Federal Conservative Member for North Vancouver in 1926.He was later in the Senate in 1930 ernannt.Hycroft was a symbol of the city and the McRaes hosted the cream of the Vancouver society in the 20s and 30s.
As their contribution to the war effort, Highcroft of the Federal Government gave the McRaes in 1942. Ms. McRae died later that year and the contents of the House were auctioned off shortly thereafter.The House was converted into a hospital and the game was later divided, and this was when the University Women's Club, which currently time women were the House to halten.Zur keep no mortgage in your own right and were required to pay for it in full. The Club members raised tirelessly have taken means with personal savings to buy bake sales and acquisition of the community in the House, and since then great satisfaction in the maintenance of the House as a historical landmark.
